Arriving at her welfare high school she walked to her first period class, Music, the one class that agreed with her. She walked over to the guitar that was set up in the corner and picked it up. Hadyn watched as the people who were in her class piled in and took their seats. "Oh my god, look at her, she is such a loner, do you think she has any friends at all?" She heard some of the girls gossiping as they set up their clarinets and flutes. Hadyn stared at them, flashing a look that could kill. Then he walked in the class, the one that Hadyn had been in love with since the ninth grade. His black hair was the highlight of his look. He was a skater and his name was Jake. There was just something about him that Hadyn was in love with. Maybe it was the fact he was one of the only people who didn't make fun of her. They weren't friends, they hardly ever talked. Jake played the drums so he was always beside Hadyn. She spent the entire class starring at him. The day went by quickly. At lunch she sat at her usual table. She would listen to her music and write. Even with her headphones turned up she still could here the sounds of the popular people yelling at each other. If you looked at their tables you were lucky if you found a seat, but at Hadyn's table all you saw were empty chairs. Heads turned as Bridgett walked into the cafeteria. With her long blonde hair flowing behind her and her skirt so short it showed half of her ass. She was like the queen bee. Hallie and Keisha followed her to their table. They were Bridgett's "Ladies in waiting". Hadyn felt sorry for them having to follow her around all the time. After school Hadyn walked home, reading her second failed math test this year. So far she had hated grade 10. She was walking up her driveway as a blue jeep pulled in behind her almost running over her. "Move!" screamed Bridgett as she honked her horn. It was a shame being a sister to such a whore.
