Anna quickly picked up the phone, “Hello?” “I need to talk to Hilary Faro.” The voice said. Anna looked at me worriedly… “I think it’s Adam…” she whispered. I nervously took the phone from her hand. “Hello?” I said nervously. “Hilary it’s Adam I just wanted to say that I was sorry for what I did and I was wondering if you would still give me another chance.” “WHAT THE FUCK ADAM YOU ALMOST RAPED ME IF IT WASN’T FOR MY FRIENDS I COULD HAVE BEEN DEAD AND YOU WANT ANOTHER CHANCE FORGET IT!” I screamed into the phone. I hung up and almost breaking the receiver in two. Anna came over to me and gave me a hug “You did the right thing Hil… He wasn’t worth it. He is a fucking creep.” Anna told me. “Thanks Anna I needed that…but what I can’t understand is how does he know I’m here?” I asked Anna and she got a very scared look in her eye “I don’t know but we better be careful for a while. That means no walking around alone.” “Alright you can be my buddy” We both started laughing. After that we both went to bed we were tired from painting all day. The next morning we got up at like 9:30. We got dressed and Keera and Janine were already in my new room. “The paint dried really well, we won’t have to do another coat. So now we can start hanging everything up!” Janine exclaimed. Keera and Janine hung up the curtains and Anna and I put up my posters. My room had black walls with splashes of pink paint over one of two of the walls. We were all down and the left me alone for a while. I put all my stuff on the dressers (which we also painted hot pink) and put my new blanket and pillow on my bed. I loved my new room and house they were great. I loved Anna’s family and for once I had a family that loved me. “HILARY ROBBIE IS AT THE DOOR FOR YOU!” Anna yelled up. I ran downstairs and went to the door. “Hilary can I talk to you for a second?” he asked. “Sure Robbie…” I answered and we went outside and sat on the front steps. “Hilary I heard what happened. I’m sorry. I know you will be happy here… but that’s not why I came. I was wondering if you wanted to go to Landon George’s party with me?” he asked. Anna, Keera and I were all invited but going with Robbie would be that much better. “I would love to Robbie!” I said happily. He let out a big smile showing his perfectly white and straight teeth. “Great I’ll pick you up at 6:30 Friday night alright?” “Great! I’ll see you at school Robbie” I answered. Just then he lent over and kissed me. We stood there for a second. I have never been so happy in my life. At that moment I knew he was the perfect guy for me. “ I’ll see you later Hilary…” Robbie walked down the drive way and across the street. I walked back into the house. “AHHHHHHHH HIL I SAW THE WHOLE THING!” Anna screamed at me. “Anna… why were you spying on me?” I asked. “Oh…Hil…I’m sorry.” Anna said. “ Anna I was joking, but you should have saw that look on your face it was hysterical!” I said laughing. “Hilary you almost had me there, do you want to go watch a movie?” she asked. “Sure Anna” and we walked into the living room. * I shall write more later
