Yesterday was grad/prom.
Fun fun time, except for some slight periods and mega-fatigue.
Started the day off with a grade-wide softball game, around 28v28 students/teachers... with me sitting on the sideline >.> so for the whole hour and 30 minutes that they were playing softball, I sat on the side (next to batting cage) watching the game while listening to music. Nothing interesting except that my friend and teammate Sam H. who broke his collar bone in rugby 6 weeks before me hit a triple with one arm XD.
After that, the whole lot of us walked over to one of the student's house nearby and had a BBQ lunch. Fun time, some people where battling on a swing set (yes... and we're 16-17 y.o.s XP). Great time, great food.
...
(This part was written 2 months later due to a major sense of laziness XP.... and my suddenness to feel like blogging again =p... been a while, hehe)
Yeah, so I've forgotten almost everything abuot grad XD
Well, went home after BBQ, got dressed and got to a fellow limo-partner's house to get together so the limo wouldnt' have to pick us all up and we'd pay even less for it =p (already cost me $75 for me and miju (grad date) [which is actually already really cheap]). We got in the limo, drove straight to a limo-partner's date's house to pick her up, nothing interesting, then had a slight allergic reaction to champagne, but nothing else happened ^^. Drove to miju's house, picked her up, then went to summit. Surprisingly.... prolly more than 7 limos showed up at the Summit. So it was a small gathering of grads who some were chatting, some smoked cigars (which smelt horrible >.>), some drank champagne, and some were just standing around admiring the scenery.
Yea... nothing much happened there =P, at some certain time (I don't remember exactly when... I'm writing this 2 months after it actually happened >.>) We went down to one of our students house for a pre-dinner get together cocktail party. Here, we saw EVERYONE.... students, dates, teachers, parents, grand parents, siblings, friends.... it was like... 200+ people cramped onto a backyard lawn =P. Not much space to walk around ^^. But still, everyone walked around, greeted each other as if we haven't seen each other for many years, even though it was only 6 hours, and congratulated each other... nothing much happened here either =p
We all went down to the grad dinner house near my school next year. It was pretty small actually, but it accomodated us almost perfectly, though the dance floor was quite crowded at one point ^^. We went in, put our coats/extra clothes/misc stuff into a vestibule (fancy =D) and went upstairs to the dining hall. The room set a pretty nice atmosphere with the dim lights and a %&@#load of wood furnishings ^^. Yea, we sat down, had dinner, which was some really dry chicken and pretty good cake. Nothing happened here either. Just talked, learned some more things about one of my former eng teachers (one of the best i've had too) M. McCarney and stuff about Sacred Heart. After dinner, we had the roasts. (Each student is introduced and "roasted" by having really funny/exaggerated/tasteful/slightly secret or embarrassing jokes told about them). They were GREAT, *almost* every single one was funny as hell ^^, though there were 1 or 2 okay ones =P. After that, we had the once-in-a-lifetime highschool mother-son dance, then free roaming. Well, nothing interesting happened, just talked, roamed around. Well, that's grad for ya.... =P went to Niki T.'s house after for an after-party, but only stayed for an hour cause my mom wanted me to be out of there cuz of my injury >.<. Just chatted there, shot one round of pool, stayed outside most of the time staring at the starry night sky alone, "hontou kirei ne?" ^_____^ .... so typical of me =p
Yea, so that was grad... I missed the breakfast and country party because I slept in and wasn't allowed to go respectively =p... and I don't remember what happened after that >.>
that's all of grad... don't remember much of what I was thinking back then... prolly not much non-school stuff cuz exams were coming fast >.< (and they were pretty easy, ended up with a 90 overall average, 3rd in grade ^^, more detail in next entry =D)
