This weekend was by far the best weekend I have ever had. EVER. I am so glad that I got to spend it with Jamie and Iris. Friday night I was just like, "this might not be fun." But was I wrong. Okay, first off ALL Catholic boys have to most pretty eyes in the WORLD. I decided that on friday night during mass. Haha I got to hold hands with this guy Ryan during the Our Father, and it was great. He shhhed us though because we were kneeling and Iris decides to stand up because she thought that was when we were supposed to stand up, but she was wrong and we all started to crack up because Iris was the only one standing up out for like 1,000 people in the gym. It was a great time. After mass, we did adoration for a little bit and then we danced! And I love dancing. Saturday we had to wake up @ 6 and be out the door by 6:30 to go back to BTGHS. We ate breakfest and then we had mass. Iris didnt mess up this time! and then we did this Rosery thing in different Languages. Some kids stood in this big Rosery Shape and held candles. I was the first Hail Mary, and Jamie was the Cross. It was pretty much Amazing. After that we danced a little bit. Pretty much amazing. And then Matt Smith talked to us. He used to be on the Real World New Orleans. He was AMAZING. I realized that I don't have to be wild and crazy to have a great time. It was the best talk that I ever had. Then we ate some lunch and then we had a 'girl talk' with this girl shes on the radio or something like that. But yeah, it was long but it was very interesting. I learned a lot. It was about How to be a Woman of God. It made me want to get a Purity Ring. And then we danced for a while. We broke up into our little armband groups. My first workshop was with Matt. He is such a role model for me now. Not to mention he is super funny. And then we went back and danced in the gym. I went to Confession. Man, it felt like just a ton was lifted off my shoulders. It was the best feeling in the world. Then I had a talk with Paul. And during that speech, I realized that I was 100% ready to live my life for Jesus who died, on the cross, FOR ME. It was pretty much the best feeling. And then we ate dinner. After dinner we had this stupid little comedy act, it was stupid so I left and met up with James and Iris and Kristen. OH! I forgot. I met this kid named Jeff in line for confession. We talked about baseball. He hates the Cubs, but thats too sad because i love those cubbies. He likes the Cardnials..meh whatever. and during the comendy thing we sat together and he used my pillow and then hit me with it. okay. And then Adoration began. OH MAN. It was the best thing of the whole weekend. We were in the 3rd to last circle so that means we had to kneel a bunch before Jesus even got to us. I cried a whole bunch before he got to us. But when he was only a circle away I didnt. After I shoved my face into the blanket I started to cry even harder. Thank goodness I had my sisters in Christ with me. We supported each other. It was amazing. We danced for a while and then broke into our small groups and talked. Then we had to wake up again at 6 on sunday to go to the school. We ate breakfest in a daze and then hung up in this door way with Preston. Iris was like What if I poured this water right here on my pants to make it look like i peed my pants. And i leaned over and i poured it on her and then she poured it on my and then Jamie but Jamie got it the best back onto Iris it was great fun. We then had morning prayer and then we danced and had three boring speakers and then we had open mic and that was pretty much amazing to have people willingly go up and talk about their expirences at DJ. Then they took Jesus away. And then we had mass with the Bishop. That was pretty Amazing. The opening song was Awesome God and Everyone in the WHOLE gym was dancing and it was the coolest feeling in the world. I loved all 850 students who surrounded me. Oh and I recivied Communion from the Bishop and I talked to him. (Confusing story) but then it ended and I had to go home. I slept from like 2 yesterday to 930 this morning. FATHER STAN HAS THE BEST COMPLEXION IN THE WORLD. Me: Father Stan has a good complexion. Jamie: I know. I'm jealous of it. Me: Yeah, me too. Not to mention he is awesome! He is from the Bronx and he Raps. Pretty much the most amazing guy besides Jesus right there. Okay I think now until I run out of songs that we danced to Ima update and end with a song. Today with two tho. The first one is the song that I love because its fun to dance to. The Happy Song Oh, I could sing unending songs Of how You saved my soul. Sit up front dont hesitate Celebrate, participate, Shout out loud... When its over keep in mind The Eucharist is still inside So praise the Lord... And Jesus, we will honor you.
