a sequence of ironies

im deadly afraid of getting hit by a car yet, i love walking in the middle of the street. and i hate school yet, its my most comforting place. [after a long plane trip] At a steady pace, she reached the board with her name. a smile formed on her lips. it read: "welcome back ruby!" and it was held by someone dear to her. a warm feeling in her heart made her choke on her words. for that one second she felt special. you know? she was a star, a real star. the kind of star you see in every big movies and tv interviews. she was an inspiration to everyone, she was special. then that rare feeling left her, after that one special second. as a crowd of paparazzi rushed to take a picture of her, the constant hollowness she felt came back to haunt her. she exhaled and continued with her special life.

And as for being unselfish - or selfless - to help is not a competition. The least of what you may do with all your effort to help someone is to me just as great as the biggest thing you can do having given the same amount of effort - reason being, you gave your utmost always, and whether you see it or not, putting the hearts of others before your own specially when your own heart was weak and weary; that is a pure selfess act! Makes me smile!
Anyways.. truthfully, thank you for your words.. they are really kind and heartfelt, even if I can't see how I compare to them, lol. Thank you for being kind! Thoughts, wishes and prayers :-)

Hope you are well and prosperous :-) Until I get back!
Hey.. you know.. I guess I am alot like an idealist, but I've never thought to label myself like that - not a bad thing if I did. I have no map to define the way of life, but to those who have shared a similar worry to one I have experienced in life, that is where I see is a map can be shown - to guide.

And yes.. if a regret is felt, there is always the ability to change. Learn, forget the mistake in its context and move on with a smile.
