where did all my people go?

Listening to: sorrow - bad religion
Feeling: hip
you want to know what i hate? its went you're on the bus and for curtious reasons you get up from your seat for an old lady but instead of taking your seat, she wants to stay standing. it puts everyone in an awkward position, espcecially you. it would be somewhat rude to sit down again...i guess. so you're both looking like idiots standing up when there's this perfectly good seat begging to sat upon. but it doesnt stop there, when other people walk on the bus and, belive, since it's the last seat left, that there's something wrong with it because you are standing, they also stay standing. now, your are not just two idiots but many. you basically have to wait until another seat is vacant as if the first one you sat in had a voodo spell that would destroy your society's code of conduct. i just find it really sad. that's all. i mean in movies, the old lady always sits and says something like: "what a wonderful young woman" or "thank you dear" but that sort of stuff don't happen all the time in real life. i find that kinda sad too. i dont think things should always be rehearsed like in movies, i just dont think a seat should be left vacant when there are people standing. that's all.

i live a 40 minute train ride away from the city. But I'm there all the time. I only go back home to sleep. I have friends that own apartments on sherbrooke and on atwater, so i'm also always crashing at their places. Cegep is a really good idea and an awesome experience. It's very similar to a community college but it's required to enter university, that's why high school and any undergraduate degree for a quebec student is a year shorter. I just love the fact that i got to leave high school a year earlier and instead did something more serious.
