movies nowadays suck ass

Listening to: trivium - requiem
so, my wife made me watch "hide and seek" well, let me tell you piss poor writing piss poor acting highly predicatble and highly unoriginal (which goes back to the piss poor writing i'd suppose) it had big name actors, but the eight year old girl gave the best performance, and that is sad. my prognosis, i movie i didnt want to see reiterated to me why i didnt want to see it in the first place. i'll give it a three out of ten in other news, "alone in the dark"... almost a cheap rip off of pitch black. except, without a cool main character. the creatures were pretty cool, but also kinda lame. i mean they're big and mean, but the emit an elctromagnetic pulse, disrupting all things electrical, why? i dont know, it made no sense in that aspect. the writing was unimaginative however. i did enjoy the giant nest of creatures underground, but they werent that far underground, and to believe that no one else had ever found the nest or the creatures hadnt ever broke through, just ridiculous. also, the creatures became cheap rip offs of the aliens from alien, what with implanting things to control them and poisones bites and such... the movie raises more questions than it answers. and generally loses its own point final thought 4 out of 10 my third and final movie review... "guess who" the previews are very misleading. guess who is played out to be a laugh out loud comedy. it does succeed in that, but only in a few instences. the whole of the movie is a drama. with a brief infusion of comedy, a dramedy if you will. if you saw the previews, you saw almost all the funny parts. it was, however, written very well, and the acting was top notch. ashton kutcher delivers a great role. and if you are one of those poor retarded bastards that thought butterfly effect was a good movie, well maybe you should look at this and see what his good acting really looks like. bernie mac definitly delivers in this movie. the drama touches on such issues as racism, interacial couples, and trust within a relationship. i give it a 6 of 10 it should be honored

yeah, and the people that made guess who had to pay an extra $100,000 because ashton refused to remove the little red string attached to his wrist.

here's a website explaining the "truth" behind the show. I was confused myself, my sister is obsessed with it, and i'll admit i'm slightly...well, i'm obsessed too. but here: http://www.gawker.com/news/mtv/laguna-beach-and-the-meaning-of-life-115673.php
read that article, it explains the "reality" of the show pretty well.

I can only appreciate sundance films anymore these days. I leave wednesday, what are you doing monday?
I totally agree! Guess Who looked great on the previews, but when you actually watch it, you're like "All the good parts were on the previews. The rest is crap!" Tru dat.
