I was talking with my korean friend, steve, and he said "you got braces!" but his accent confused me and I thought he said "You racist!" and it was cool. And for those of you who are too lazy to trek through kate's diary, here's what she's talking about in her oh-so-great comment: Phil: be careful when you go out to the parking lot, at night there tends to be a lot of black guys out there, I don't want you to get assaulted. Me: did you just say 'be careful when you go out to the parking lot, at night there tends to be a lot of black guys out there, I don't want you to get assaulted?!?' Phil: [laughing] No, I was telling you to watch out for the black ice out in the lot, because the lot never gets salted.
