Yeah, so happy Ides of March everyone. (Yesterday was pi day). I've been pretty busy this week because track is just starting up, and I love willingly submitting myself to extensive physical torture.
Yeah, so I thought I'd share with you one of my favorite conversations That happened so late at night it was very very early in the morning on the 26th of February.
A Canadian: "Hey, where are you from?"
Me: "Michigan, you?"
"Canada."
"Cool. Do you guys have microwaves there?"
"Yes, we do have microwaves, but we have to stick them in the back of our igloos."
"What's it like being here not eating penguin all the time?"
"It's nice, but you can't drink the Mexican water."
"I bet you're used to just going outside and melting some snow."
And of course, the WTF OUT OF CONTEXT quote from school:

I have no motivation when it comes to running other than loving to run. I really don't care if I win or lose lol. That's a good point about distance, I would have a ton of trouble staying motivated. What events do you run?
