This story takes place in a time not unlike ours. It involves a mysterious person, his name well we will call him Brian. He had a secret that was locked away from the world the dark perception of the world, his view was blurred with all the lies of society wit it forcing him to conform to societies rules. The rules of unjust, but this was impossible for he could not let the people dilute him with these thoughts for he was his own person, a loner. With his few friends that he has because they understand him they are just like him. But his family they were like the rest. They pretended he didn’t exist because he was different from them embarrassed to call them one of there own. There unlove threw him in the pit depression and darkness he calls life. He has never been happy for he has never felt true love; he’s never been able to trust. He felt like he didn’t exist no girl had ever noticed him but he didn’t care because he didn’t notice anyone either. Until the day he noticed a girl. She stood out he could see the darkness and depression surround her thoughts he could feel her through the crowds. He knew he had to talk to her or a tragedy could be imminent. Brian walked over to this girl of mystery he said “hi”. She looks up at him with her gloomy blue eyes and says “what do you want from me? Did you just come over to taunt me like the others”? “GO AWAY” she says. So he walks into the crowd of people with hate full stares upon him, he disappears into the mass. Later that day he was walking to his car and she came running up to him. “Why did you come up to me today and talk to me?” “Your different from the rest you radiant in the crowd so noticeable to me its like I could feel your inner pain I can’t belief this is the first time I’ve seen you and when I noticed you I knew I had to talk to you ”. Oh, well I just transferred from another school some bad things happened. Hey were you calling me strange? Well you know you’re not that normal yourself. Ha ha ha I know this; hey do you want a ride home. Sure. On the ride to her house they talked about what was happening in there life how they hated the world for treating them so badly. They knew there was something between them. When he got to her house she got out of the car looked down at him and with a single tear streaming down her face she softly says thank you. Brian says for what? For noticing me. They say there goodbyes and he leaves. The next day he comes to school dressed in his usual everyday funeral he comes in and sits with his best friend Kyle. He starts to talk to Kyle about Jen and confessing how he feels about her to him he was always there to listen to his bitching no matter how much he had to say. But then he sees her com into the school he signals for her to sit with him she walks over to him and hands him a note and walks back into the diluted population. The note explains her feelings towards him he was astonished. He finds out that she has fallen in love with him but he just liked her he was unknowing of love. It also talks about how at her old school every one used to make fun of her and make her cry and break her spirits. She says she was going to kill herself that night but I saved her because someone finally gave a shit about her. As the days go on they grow closer and closer. Then one moist humid night we went to Fright Land. We went to the old barn in the further back part of fright land. It was in ok attraction but when we were about to leave this gruesome monster with glowing red eyes that looks like the furry of hell with in its eyes. It leaps out at us we freak out with the sudden startled events they were unable to think clearly. There only feasible response was to shriek in horror form the sheer terror running perfusely through there fear ridden spines. As they were leaving they were walking to his car they stop right as they walk up to the car. There eyes met in a sudden gaze of intense caring. He knew it was the right time it was the first kiss. The intensity was there when there eyes met, it was magic to them it felt like time had stopped just for them like they were stuck in a parallel time in a different world were people actually gave a shit about one another everything just stop. Then they came back to the true reality of the world the fueled hatred the dark thoughts and the blurred perception of the world. She looks at him in there dazed confusion of what just took place she stammers, “I I… I….. I looooo… I LOVE YOU!” She burst out with a look of relief on her death white face. “Uh I love you too jen. I’ve felt this way ever since the day that I came upon you. Your personality the way you take yourself every thing I could sense you’re darkened perception of the world it was just like mine”. They get in Brian’s car and he drives her home. When he pulls into her drive way she looks up at him with tears in her eyes and says I don’t want you to go please don’t leave. “I cant I have to go home I never want to leave you but I have to.” He gets out of the car and walks her to the door. He kiss her good night and pass the I love yous and he goes home, the whole time thinking of her. Three weeks pass, Brian was at work, working for the every day slave drivers getting ready to get off his shift. He was taking jen to the movies that night there choice was undecided. But like usual someone was going to be late so they had me stay another thirty minutes. He finally gets off of work and goes on his way home to get changed. On the radio he hears a weather report “the national weather service center has issued a flood warning for the following counties in Delaware. He wasn’t paying attention until he herd New Castle County. The announcer said to expect heavy down pours and blinding rain and recommend staying off the road. But he puts in his favorite slipknot cd and just ignores the warning. He arrives home in a rush and jolts up to his room to change. The whole time he was listing to his moms bickering. He runs out of the house saying bye to his mom “BE HOME AT TEN OR ILL TAKE THE COMPUTER YOU BOUGHT!!” He takes off to Odessa to pick up jen. It was only seven o clock but the dour sky made it seem like the nights break. The movie starts at seven forty five and he was still twenty minutes away from Jens house and it would take another twenty minutes to get to peoples plaza. The speed limit was a mere 35 but that did not faze Brian he was doing at lest 75 down the back roads. But just as the moment comes the sky opens up and drowns the earth around him. He was driving blind but this did not make him slow down he didn’t want to be late for the movie but this was an unwise choice. At in instance a car appeared out of no were he tried to stop and swerve out of the way but the bonding grip of the rubber and the road lost the grip of the hugging road. A flash came upon him he blacked out. The car had flipped at lest four times and landed in a swampy ditch with the harsh water entering the car. The tide was high. He awakes bleeding, wet, broken, to the ringing to his cell phone. He struggles to grab it but he’s pined under the steering wheel he finally grabs hold of it. He sees the front display its jen. He uses the little energy he has stifled up and answered it. He hears Brian took you long enough to answer, Christ where are you were gona be late. “I’m sorry jen I love you I’m sorry…. And his voice fades away. Brian.. Brian.. BRIAN what’s wrong Brian please answer me Brian!!” but there was no one there to here her cry’s, Just the pitter patter of the dieing rain. The next day Brian’s best friend Kyle went to Jens house. He explains what happened. “Jen something happened last night.” WHAT! “Brian was in a car accident.” He... he didn’t make it… I’m sorry. The police said they found his car in a shallow ditch. They said they couldn’t even tell it was a car it was just mangled metal and twisted steel. When they pulled the car from the ditch the opened it up and they found him. He was holding this hoodie hugging it like it was his last wish to have it like he had forever undieing love for it. Here you can have it. This hoodie is mine I thought I lost it at fright land but he had it. “Thank you Kyle” she goes back into her house to never be seen again. No it’s not suicide you might like to think that but its not. It was found that her heart had stopped. The doctors were so confused because she had just had a check up the week before and she was the healthy person she had ever seen. But the few people that knew her know why she died. She died of a broken heart because the only person she ever loved had left her in death. She had nothing else to live for, no one to live for so she just gave up on living.
