Listening to: Spoon
Feeling: sluggish
Hello!!
I've been gone and now I'm back. I didn't really go away, just had bad luck with the internet. Also this site. It won't let me upload the picture I want it to. Hmm..
Also!!
I was supposed to leave for Oregon in about a week or so, but due to financial issues, I no longer am. Sort of sucks. But I guess now I can wait until my brother has vacation hours to use and go in May when the weather is nice.
Speaking of weather...Holy fucking shit. Seriously. It's cold. In a single day it dropped nearly 80 degrees. 80 degrees! For serious! Not only that, but since it was in the forties during the day yesterday, all the snow melted and everything was wet. So when suddenly it dropped to around negative 30, EVERYTHING froze. Including the driver's side door on my car. Ugh.
Ughhhh.
On the plus side today, though, I woke up early to do laundry, thinking that I had work at 9:45. Realizing I had no quarters for the dryer, I freaked. But alas! I looked at my schedule and I don't work until 12:30. All is well.
Almost.
I forgot!!
I had my teeth worked on. Apparantly no one at the dentist office had noticed in the last few check-ups that I had some "trouble spots" in between my teeth. Now it's no surprise that those spots are a little worse off.
Three cavities, in between my teeth, right next to one another. Fuck. Seriously. My teeth are usually so wonderful. They were one part of me that I was always okay with. But now...ugh.
Ughhhh.
So I went in for my appointment on Tuesday, not really knowing what I had in store for me. I've never had a filling before. When I asked if it would be real painful, my doctor kind of shrugged it off, saying that it would feel a bit cold, but I should be fine. Also in the back of my head was my mom's voice saying, "novocaine hurts the most" so I opted for the non-numbed version of the procedure.
Worst decision of my life.
One fantastic hour later, I went up to the main desk, where the receptionist then told me that I have to schedule two more appointments "to handle other trouble spots".
Shoot me now.
Great to see you back on here, btw. You needs to be gettin' phones. And feelin' better. :) Talk to you soon, Katie.
A piece of a tooth fell off. And I still have not gone. :D Be proud!
(P.S.: Yeah, that makes my teeth sound WAY worse than they actually are. :P)
