i just got back from mexico this morning. i can not honestly say ive ever had that much fun in a foreign country. but hey, it was the first time ive been out of the united states, but it was still fun as hell. i went with eddie's church group, and we built houses for a couple families. it really made me realize how lucky i am and how unlucky i could be. how is it possible that they have soooo little, but are still happier than anyone in the united states? we're all greedy bastards. i made alot of new friends and the freinds i already had are even better friends now. we ate a bunch of tacos and tortas, built a house in three days, avoided going to the bathroom/taking showers as much as possible, and went shopping in the biggest swap meet ever (rosarita). about the title: the girls and guys had to sleep in different areas...the adults analogy for saying we couldnt sleep together was making purple. blue(guys) + red(girls)=purple. i miss cori. alot.
