The Logan debate tournament was yesterday, I did Congress, which I've never done before and still don't really feel comfortable doing. I didn't take a reso, but I did give two speeches and asked a lot of questions, so my ballots won't be completely lame and blank. The I came home. Me and my mom watched Sabrina, the old black and white one with Audrey Hepburn. I would have rather been at the dance. I got paid last night, so now I have almost ninty dollars, seventy of which is going to the band fees my mom is so proud that I'm paying rather than having gone to the dance. At least I'll have almost twenty left over and then in about two weeks I can get a cell phone, and then whatever money I have left over after buying my phone and minutes card thinger, I'll put in savings. I ate a lot of ice cream last night; on nights when you're having a "pity party" you should watch chick flicks and eat lots of fatty ice cream. Although come to think of it, I really should have watched scary or intense movies instead. Later-- So this morning I found out that Faith's date, who happens to be a guy I know, decided to bail on her for the Sweetheart's dance, saying that he had to babysit. Her would-have-been group saw him there...with another girl. Jerk. I know the girl he bailed on Faith to go with, and that makes me so mad that he did that. Who bails on a slightly physically impaired girl??? *sigh* And I thought that this guy was getting nicer as he got older. I guess some habits die hard.
