Today was eventful. This morning, I was 20 minutes late to band again, but all I got was "Ashley, you're finally awake." or something from O. That was cool. I was kind of afraid I'd get yelled at. We only did around 6 or 7 laps. The parade, it turns out, is only 6 laps long. 1 1/2 miles. Not bad at all. We had a pizza/pride party after that. I ate two pieces of pizza and some Nelson cookies. My appetite has been growing rapidly lately. Andy made a slide show. It was mainly made up of newspaper clippings and scanned pages from the scrapbooks, but it was good. I like pride party presentations. Especially Chris Saj's video documentary. So, after band, I went home and cleaned the bathroom. The gross, disgusting upstairs bathroom. That's $10 right there. I decided to keep my track shoes that I was planning on returning. I'll buy my Sambas with my own money. My mom went shopping, and she brought back my new inhaler. Only, it's not an inhaler. It's a diskus. It's the strangest contraption. One of the side effects is actually "trouble breathing". Isn't that what it's supposed to control? Anyway, it's white powder that you inhale, and you have to brush your teeth right away, or else you get mouth cancer. Seriously. It's another likely side effect. I'm not sure I'm comfortable taking something so dangerous, but I don't really have a choice. I took it after making Drew, Matt, and Adam read me the directions three times each so I wouldn't screw it up. Mouth cancer is the last thing I want. After that, I dropped my mp3 player in Drew's cup of soda. It seemed to be working fine still, so I dried it off and taped it to my arm. Then I went running. I actually lasted pretty long, but my mp3 player started making really weird noises, then it died altogether. I'm a little addicted to music, so I stopped running and went home. Then I packed a pillow, a cell phone, a bottle of water, and Sophie's World into Adam's gym bag and ran to Vet's. I layed on the grass and read for a while. When I got to the part about the golden labrador retriever, I turned around, and a loose golden labrador retriever was right behind me sniffing my head. That was so weird. And yeah, I'm only that far. Page 61 I believe. I'm a bad person. I've only read in gym class once, a little yesterday, and today. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Then, it got a little cold, so I went home, and now my mom is making tacos. I think I could eat about three. We'll see about that. This increasing apetite thing is so exciting. But right now, I'm going to practice some typing and mayyybe do some homework. But it's Messineo homework. So I'll probably hold that off. I'm really in the mood to get things done today.
