Mexico

Listening to: Incubus
Feeling: awake
She stopped on the stretch of the bike path and looked to the stars. Her eyes were filled with content as she saw the orange moon glow beneath the thin sheet of clouds. The music playing within her ears seemed to fit the moment in time, and as the lyrics were sung she sighed. You could see me reaching So why couldn't you have met me half way? You could see me bleeding And you would not put pressure on the wound. You only think about yourself... You only think about yourself... You better bend before I go on the first train to Mexico. You could see me breathing And you still kept your hand over my mouth. You could feel me seething But you just turned your nose up in the air. You only think about yourself... You only think about yourself... You better bend before I go on the first train to Mexico. She was still slightly high which made her feel more relaxed as her hand gripped the chain-linked fence. All the events that occured over the day continued to flash in her mind. Loosing a friend over the most rediculous reasons, her friends getting busted for drug dealing, two of her friends missing from the group, no constant flow of smoking weed, more outings on the bikes and a change in relationship. She was only with Shawn today, and it was how it always was. The only girl in the group but the relationships were growing, becoming stronger friends. She kept any desire from attraction pushed aside, she was happy with just having close friends. It was always much more releiving having guy friends then girls, especially how they were just like best friends. The more they hung out the closer they came and the more comfortable and safer she felt. Despite the void from the missing things seemed to improve. She saw it as an oppertunity, but she was unaware for what. The only intrest she had became an arrogent and selfish person over-night and being with Shawn seemed to make her feel better knowing he wasn't going to patronize her for any little thing said wrong or end a friendship over her giving a little attitude. She peered down at the tar as it shimmered from the street light beyond the fence. Her eyes focused in the dark to make out a little bit of the bike path and she continued home. The music playing from the walkman made her more at ease, her ideal thing to do was listen to music, ride a bike smoking a cigarette and being high at the same time and taking her time to enjoy the moment. She relied on music for a lot of things and without that she would be lost. She walked into the house and greeted the two excited little puppies on the floor and into the office where she sat once more and remaniced on the day. The last thought was what tomorrow would bring.
