Listening to: Ashamed-Orgy
Feeling: abnormal
In her catatonic state she was dull
Forever deprived of reality
She watched the world idiotically
With an expressionless face
She seemed to have no thoughts
She gave the illusion of no authority
She was battered and trampled on
Worth nothing
Forever doomed to this way of life
In a society that knew not of acknowledgement
Her family never once turned to see if she was there
They all wished her death
She was alone with nothing left
No family, disregarded forever she was left for dead
Dumped on the dirt road she once walked, she was left there alone
Wandering, isolated from everyone else
She smiled
Her life was no longer irrelevant
She took the small shard of glass from the floor and pierced the flesh of her neck
She had the power, she took it
Deeper faster harder longer the cuts grew
The world was lit
Spinning, spinning she hovered
She leapt in the air
Autonomy alas
She fell to the ground
And never woke again
Forever dreaming of her last thoughts
Smiling and laughing
Floating gliding through the air
She chose to take her life
Freedom alas!
Forever! And never deprived of it!
Acknowledgement at last!
Eternal happiness devoured
She watched her fall
Hit the ground
Head first legs last
She bled
Quickly she bled
Spilling her life out
Rivets of ruby liquid flowing down the road into a near by stream
She worked swiftly as the sirens grew
She worked quickly
Attempting a rouge for her younger sister
She never did this…she’d never do this
She worked swiftly
Carefully and skillfully she worked
In her head the words she repeated “she never did this, she’d never do this†pounding repeating branding her brain
She worked quickly
Finally arriving the ambulance took her away
As she watched them take her
She noticed the white light bouncing on her sibling’s face
She cried
She started to realize her sister’s position
She was at the point a self demolition
Because she was walking the world dead from the inside
Her organs all dead
Her heart made of lead
She became the living dead
Forever damned to walk this earth
Viewed and placed as subhuman
She cried
Why oh why was she deprived of her humanity!
Why not me! Why not me!
She shrieked these words again and again
Until finally she saw the small river
That once carried the ruby red juiced down stream
She cried once again, low this time…why not me…
Almost whimpering she leaped
Awaiting the cold water below her to engulf her
She sunk
Deeper and deeper into her pool of depression
She cried out for her sibling sister
And for the last time she breathed
Not air nor water
She breathed the sweet scent of her sister
Remembering the sweet memories that they had shared
Forever sisters
She awoke and found her sibling sister aside her
She picked her up
And they hugged each other
Forever sisters…….in life and death….forever sisters
