Okay...Day uhh...12! Good day, and welcome to Day 12. Pure genius, those Mackenzie Brothers. You know what else is genius? The fact that we get two weeks off for Christmas and New Year's and such. That totally rules dude, like, really man! I'll tell you something that doesn't really rule though, and that's walking up to a cage which is the home of a 25 year-old parrot, and sticking your finger inside to pet his head. Because if the parrot happens to be angry, and he usually will be boy howdy, he has the power to rip your finger clean off your hand, leaving a gaping hole in between two of your other fingers, serving no purpose other than to shoot blood everywhere. And then you'll start to panic and shout and jump around and fan yourself with your other, good hand, because fanning yourself with the hand that's missing a finger won't really do much for ya now will it? And in your panicked-jumpy state, you'll trip on the blood that has gathered on the floor after being shot out of your hole (the finger hole i mean....for now) and you'll fall and hit your head. And the whole time you'll be thinking 'wow, what a terrible guest i am, petting this bird when clearly it was not a good idea, i hope they don't hold this over me for years to come.' But they will, and you know they will, and the best thing you can do now is merely stop squirming so much, because you already look like Sissy Spacek in the movie Carrie, and you can't change that now. Oh and you'll also be missing a finger and that's pretty hard to get back to. Or maybe it's not, what am I, a doctor? Anyways, before i get TOO sidetracked here, the point I'm really trying to make here is that I wish all of you out there a very merry Christmas, a happy New Year and that you enjoy the festive season.
