Listening to: james taylor - up on the roof
who makes a cover of a wonderful love song by Berlin, decharacterizing it for the next generation?
jessica simpson! that bitch.
take my breath away... you will always be by berlin.
same for sixpence none the richer. "hey now, hey now" always will bring crowded house to mind.
so i guess i have to look at it this way. i'm in control. right? i pick the clothes i want, i pick the food i want, i pick the outlook i want, i pick the friends i want, i pick the life i want. so i just have to know that, have some sense of identity, and i'll be ok. its not cute vs. mess... its just how you look at it. i think.
i went to lunch w/ my mom, her friend mary anne and her daughter (lauren) one of the sormantis... i get them mixed up, they're twins @ panera in north smithfield. shopping with my mom too. i made a haul and i love the things i got...
pair of faded boot cut jeans: agh. i like boot cut. they aren't so mainstream.. make me feel all cool and indie in some way. pacsun.
pair of blue flare jeans: yeah. just a plain pair of jeans. a little long, but they will do. pacsun.
green, khaki, & yellow striped shirt: i like it. gotta collar and button down and such. pacsun.
pair of hot pink flip flops: all soft and rubbery and a vibrant shade of PINK! and i love them. AE.
pair of white flip flops with blue and white striped cotton straps: it's like a beach in the 50s or something. the straps tie where the toe is. they're cool and i was lookin for them. AE.
really faded denim jacket: really faded. 3/4 length sleeve. all 80s and such. nuff said. old navy.
yeah i wanted to be all superficial and tell you what i got. i bet i sounded really dumb. hehe. well i was just bored.
have fun... cabb*
cheerio.
and i have an icon that says die young and save yourself. but it has a different photo.<123.
