Grrr...my stomache hurts because I'm hungry and Teresa finished off the milk so I can't have cereal and we don't have any bread for toast...=( Well here's my list, about what would I miss most about NZ and what am I looking forward to going back to the US? NZ 1.FRIENDS 2.All the animals(*) 3.Scenery 4.Places to go 5.Uniform 6.Recess 7.The accent! 8.Calling friends from the future. 9.All the parks! 10.Being the cool american girl.(Yeah right!) (*)I love all the people who's cats run around outside so other people can pet them and see them! And the dogs and SHEEP!!!! Horses too! US 1.FRIENDS 2.My pets! 3.MY HOME! 4.French Fries 5.Skiing @ Beaver Mountain 6.Biking 7.Swimming 8.My very own computer...*Drool* 9.School 10.Snow!!! Ok, now on to Dunedin. I wrote a small thing while we were on the train over some Gorge...but I left it in my room and I'm too lazy to go get it. So instead I'll just tell you of my memory, ok? Here goes. It started at about...oh...10.00am when we left. We got there at 6.00pm. 8 hours it took us. We stopped first at Oamaru, and we walked around for a bit. Then we stopped at 'The Boulders' and they're these cool rocks on the beach of the ocean and they're really fun to climb on. Then we went and saw these seals and took videos and pictures of them. They were so cool...you just HAD to see it. Then Mom went back to the car and Dad, Teresa and I went to go see if there were any Penguins on the beach...but there weren't. =( Oh well. Then we went and we drove to Dunedin. When we got to Dunedin we drove around to try and find a hotel. We stopped at the Vacant hotels and asked if they had family rooms. There was one hotel, downtown, it had two rooms together, each with a TV in the rooms, for $150 a night. We didn't stay there. Instead, we stayed at the Garden Motel. Our rooms were a bit cramped, but that's ok. We went to Speights Brewery for dinner, because Dad decided he didn't want to go on a tour of a beer that belonged to Lion Breweries. So we ate there and then we went back and went to bed.(No...REALLY??) The next day we went to the Train station and got tickets for the Gorge thingy. It was really cool and we saw lots of sheep and horses and cows. One time(At band camp) we passed these sheep on the way back, and we had stopped because they were checking to see if they could go onto the main line, and all these sheep were calling their babies, but this one sheep's lamb had gotten itself on the other side of the fence, the other lamb was right next to it. So it started to walk off with the others, occasionally stopping to call back to the lamb across the fence, who was trying to keep up on that side. Finally we got moving again. Teresa, Dad and I stayed outside on the platform a lot. I got a pack of postcards to send to my friends back home. So then we went back to the hotel and then after the Simpsons we went to Thai Land and ate there. I liked Teresa's noodles and the chicken wings I got. I was the only one that seemed to like the food. The next day(Yesterday) we packed up and put our stuff in the car, and then we parked in a parking garage and went to the Cadbury factory for a tour. During the tour, the people would occasionally get us these candy bars, such as Moro and chocolate fish, depending on what level we were at and what kind of candy bar was made on that level. At the end of the tour, we went to the gift shop and looked around, and I got a Cadbury WORLD bucket hat that I am now wearing. Then we went to the Castle but decided we didn't want to go into the Castle and instead we drove around, trying to find a way to get to a statue up on a hill, and on the way, we saw these two sheep and their two lambs. One lamb ran up to one sheep and began to nurse, it's little tail wagging ferociously, and then the other lamb ran to the other sheep. The sheep kept butting the lamb away, as if saying, "HEY! You're not my kid! Go away!" And finally it ran off to the other sheep as if saying, "Oh, right, sorry!" It was so cute and funny. Finally we got home and now I'm here talking to you right now. Yeah. I'm gonna see a movie today with Shawnie, Jesse, and Shawnie's cousin, Becca. Then I will probably have a sleepover with Shawnie. So that will be fun. Anyway, I made an entry! Yeah so ... now I'm going to read Shawnie's diary. BYE!
