Listening to: Nothing Really - Just The Sprinklers
Feeling: flattered
Righteo then!
July 22nd.
I woke up Friday morning to give Mickey his medicine and pills. I hate that he's sick, I hate that I have to throw those icky white tablets down his throat and rub his throat until he swallows. I hate that I wasnt here for him when he first got it. Stupid diabetes.
Oh well. He's getting better. And I know that things just find ways to go wrong around me, but he's my cat. He's MY cat, and so nothing will go wrong and he'll get better and he'll be happy and live a long, healthy life.
Anyway. I got everything ready, such as my bikini, my shorts and shirt for the next day, my sunscreen, my Secret, my wallet and cell phone. Everything's ready! I climb back into bed and fall asleep til...oh, say 10:30 or 11. I eat breakfast and get my shoes on. Mum and I head out to Katelyn's.
Katelyn and I dub on her bike over to the library where we check out "Serving Sara". We watched about...a half of it or so, but then her dad needed the computer so we got off, and she thought it was boring so we never finished it. Oh well. I'll watch it some other time.
Then Katelyn, her mum, her dad, Ashley, Roman, Bo and I all got into her 5-seater car. I sat in back. Katelyn sat up front. I was squished between her sister and one of her brothers. It was awkward. Her sister's nice though. She does wicked-as hair!
We went to the mall to get lunch at Taco-Time. It was yummy. Katelyn and I hadn't gotten drinks so we finished our lunch and ran to Orange Julius to get a free sample. That made us feel better. Hehe. So then we all got back in and went back to her place. That night, there was this freak thudner storm and even an earthquake. Roman thought lightning struck their house just because the power went out for like a few seconds. Yeah thats gotta be it.
The rain was warm. The lightning was close. The earthquake was after it had all stopped, at around midnight. Katelyn and I stayed up later than that, to around 1, quietly...well...quiet enough to feel an earthquake, in her room, and yet we never felt it. But Teresa did. Oh well.
Finally we slept and when we woke up, we changed and got all our stuff ready. Accidentally, I left my cellphone back at her house. Oh well. No missed calls.
We took three cars to Lagoon. Ashley's boyfriend took Ashley, Bo, and Cody. Katelyn's grandpa took Roman and Brock, and then Katelyn's brother, Dustin, his wife, Paola, and their son Joseph (2 months) took Katelyn, her mum, her dad, and I in their van.
I've decided I'm just going to sum it up while I remember it.
We rode rides, we swam in water, we ate lunch, we ran around, etc.
Katelyn and I were walking back from a ride and I was kind of starin blankly at this extremely cute boy, thinking he kind of looked familiar, when he noticed me and said as he passed, "Hey Babe." I kind of jumped a bit. Did he know me? No, he was just joking around. I looked at Katelyn and we burst into laughter. We stayed for the fireworks a little bit, then we headed home. I stayed the night at Katelyn's again since it was after midnight when we got home.
The End, finally.
