Listening to: Spin - Lifehouse
Feeling: sluggish
Friday night, Teresa and I went to Caleb's and Sharon's for Guy Fawks. Teresa was already there when I got there, and Sharon wasn't home yet. I sat with Teresa after filling out my nametag, which said Non-Alpaca Llama's Non-Alpaca Little Sister. They played drink the green fruit smoothie, which didn't taste all that great to me, and then they played the pass-the-lollies-around-the-circle game, which was when Sharon came home.
Everyone was playing games or talking or something. There was cricket going on, there was hacky-sack, there was playing the computer game, there was just sitting and talking, there were a lot of things going on. They also had a game where everyone tried to hit the person on the tramp with a ball. Heehee.
I learned how to bowl(in cricket) and to bat. It was fun. When it was time for fireworks, everyone got on the tramp. We watched and Sharon, Sayla and I were all, "Oooo! Ahhhh!" Heeheeheehee...yeah.
But suddenly, so unexpectedly, a firework tipped over, and shot out everywhere - especially at the trampoline. Everyone huddled down and screamed. When I squinted my eyes shut, I saw a flash, even through my eyelids. When I opened my eyes, everyone was huddled down, hugging their knees or themselves.
I was so freaked out. I hadn't gotten hit, but I was scared. And the only person I could cry on was Teresa. I knew she wouldn't be mean to me if I was crying, so ran to her and cried against her. Sharon came over and told Teresa that she'd gotten hit, but it didn't leave a mark. Teresa, to make me feel better, told me to go beat up Zeb. But I didn't want to. So me and Sharon went up to the balcony to watch the rest of the fireworks. When we got bored of them, we went down to play the computer game.
Finally mum came to pick us up, and we went home.
On Saturday, Sharon and Caleb invited us to the Church bonfire. They came to pick us up and when we got there, Sharon, Hannah, Jessie and I played around. It was fun. The bonfire was wicked. We all went to find sticks, and I found this huge stick that I chucked into the fire...it stuck out.
We saw people were playing with sparklers, so we asked Sharon's mum if she would get the sparklers for us, and we threw up the sparklers and watched them land. It was still fun. We had this relay where I took Jessie to Sharon on piggyback, and Sharon took Jessie to Hannah on piggyback, then Hannah took Jessie back to me on piggy back, but I'd already taken Seresa to Sharon, who'd already taken to Hannah, who'd taken it to me, but I'd already taken Jessie to Sharon, and so on.
Finally the fireworks started. Jessie and Seresa were huddled up against me so I was like, "man I'm so loved." Hahahahahahhahahahh no. Anyhow, we had a bonfire behind us and fireworks in front of us. It was a pretty aweshome evening.
Sharon's mum took me home and me and Sharon had this conversation in the car about how sometimes if you're listening to music, while reading a book, the music will intwine with the story and every time you hear that song, you'll be reminded of that book.
On Sunday, of course, I was with Sharon, Hannah, and Jessie. We went on a hike and afterwards we went swimming in the ocean. MAN it was cold. Brr. But I was so proud because instead of walking along the rocks like the rest of them, I swam to the cave. But man it was painful when I got onto the rocks. Hannah even cut her foot, but didn't notice until she saw it was bleeding, which is better.
So yeah, that was my weekend. Yesterday, Sharon came over to watch Big Fish. It was confusing but cool, and deffinately a Tim Burton movie.
