I seemed like a year passed until the end of the day for Jesse. Kelsey took the problem with Aries off his mind. He almost shot out of his seat when the bell rang. "Where are you off to in such a hurry?" Laughed Aries from behind him. "I'm hanging with Kelsey today." "Oh. Well I have to run over to Marquee, a string broke on my guitar last night and I need new ones so, I'll be a while getting home kay?" said Aries asking herself why she wasn't asked to join Jesse and Kelsey, but she shrugged it off knowing that they figured she would be working on the new song. Jesse ran out to the soccer feild befoer any of the team got there. He sat at the corner and waited. His heart jumped when Kelsey ran out of the gym's back door. "Kelsey!" He shouted hoping she would hear him. "Hey Jesse! I'm just going to go warm up so I'll talk to you later." She yelled back. Kelsey smiled and ran to the track. There was another one of her passions, running. She ran the track about 2 times before everyone else came out, looking over at Jesse whenever she could and noticing that every time she looked, he was looking back. "Alright girls we are going to play a practice game today." The coach divided the girls onto two teams. "Lively you are offense!" Kelsey nodded and ran to centre feild. Of course at the end of practice Kelsey's team won, twelve to three. Kelsey quickly ran inside, changed, and ran back out to meet Jesse. "You looked great out there." commented Jesse as they entered Starbucks. "Thanks, If i knew you were paying attention I would have shown off." Kelsey said in return knowing her comments were turning into flirts like ice melts on a hot frying pan. Jesse just looked at her and smiled. "After knowing her my entire life I'm just realizing how completely awesome she really is" Jesse thought to himself as he sat down at one of the big cushioned booths in the cafe. They stayed there for about an hour just talking and they decided to make their way back to Aries and Jesse's house to see if Aries was back yet. Together they walked down the stairs and through the door. "Jesse is that you?" yelled his mother from in the laundry room. "Yeah Mom, It's me and Kelsey." Jesse yelled back to his mother. All his friends thought their mother was awesome, and she was. She was cool with them having parties and having friends spend the night if their own parents kicked them out, but she still had rules. "Alright, where is your sister? Do you know? Hi Kelsey!" said his mother, as she carried a large basket of clean laundry up the stairs. "Hi Annetta. Kelsey went to go get strings for her guitar." answered Kelsey. Jesse and Aries's mother loved her. "What she said." Laughed Jesse as his mother closed the door that led upstairs. Kelsey walked into Jesse and Aries's room and climbed up onto Jesse's bed. "Come sit with me." said Kelsey as Jesse turned on his stereo. He climbed up and sat resting his back against the wall by his pillow. "I love this song. When forever seems to take it's time and we're still standing here in line, waiting for the sun to rise..." said Kelsey as she sang along to This Providence. Jesse just smiled and starred at her and Kelsey starred back. At that momment everything changed...
