Aries limped the whole way to school. Quietly listening to her Mp3 player, the words echoed in her ears. Lost within, Pursuing the end, I fight for the chance, To be lied to again. Second period came along quicker then usual, Jesse and Kelsey sat at the back of the room. Waiting for Aries to come in, but she never did. Jesse had a feeling Aries was doing something that she never would have done if it wasn't for him. Aries stood behind the school, by where Kelsey, Jesse and her always used to sit at lunch. She wasn't alone. Carter was with her, and so was one of his friends. "Here..." He said as he handed Aries a joint. She took it with no hesitation. Carter lit it for her and she took a puff of the weed. His friend just laughed. "This is so not like you." The guy said. He sort of reminded her of Jesse but she tried not to think about it. "You don't know me." She snapped back in a quiet way. He raised his eyebrows and continued smoking. After he finished he walked away and back in the school. "How much is this going to cost me?" Aries said as she took her second puff. "Nothing. It's on me today." Carter said in this tone that made Aries jump. She didn't exactly know, but she sort was starting to sort of like him. His shaggy hair was the colour of Kelsey's and his eyes were grey and drugged. They heard the bell ring and the quickly went inside to avoid suspision. She walked through the halls as people started pouring out of the classrooms, Carter stood close to her side. Aries couldn't concentrate and her eyes felt heavy.
