Aries walked through the rain, tired and helpless. She walked for at least two hours. Around in circles having nowhere to go. Finally she walked to the underpass and sat under one of the bridges. At the end of the underpass she saw a figure dressed in black and his hair was long. He slowly walked passed her and across the street. She knew who he was. His name was Carter and everyone talked about him. For all the wrong reasons. She got up and ran up to him. "Aries?" He said as she aproached him. 'Okay he knows who I am.' She thought to herself as she got up the nerves to ask him for what she needed. She just kind of starred at him hoping he would realize what she was after. "I never thought someone like you would want to do this shit." He said as they walked up to his house. Carter unlocked the door and walked in and motioned for Aries to follow. The house reaked of smoke and lonliness. There was no one in the house except Carter and herself. He walked up a set of creaky, dirty carpeted stairs to a door that had band posters and Parental Discretion signs and caution tape all over it. He walked to the closet and pulled out a wood box. "What are you going for." he asked. She shrugged her shoulders having no idea what she needed. "Something that will make me feel warm." mumbled Aries. Carter dug to the bottom of the box and pulled out a paper bag. He held it towards her. She knew what it was. Hesitating for a momment, Aries took it from his hand. "Twenty." He said, she handed him four five dollar bills, saved up from lunches in which she had skipped. Aries slipped the paper bag in her pack and walked out. "Aries wait." Yelled Carter as he jumped down the stairs. She quickly turned around. "If you ever want to go out sometime, you know, like a trip to the skate park, or a bush party... maybe even a movie if you are in to movies?" He asked looking at her. She nodded her head slightly and walked out. Jesse and Kelsey sat in the basement, waiting for Aries to get home. Jesse paced back and forth. "You're making me dizzy." said Kelsey lying on Jesse's bed. He just stared at her. Jesse just debated on what to say to Aries when she came in. Sorry just wouldn't cut it with her and Jesse was fully aware of that. He was just worried that she was out doing something to calm herself. No one had saw her since lunch. At that momment Aries stumbled in the basement door. Jesse ran out of the room and over to her. He looked at her, she was more distant then usual. Her body was there, but her mind was somewhere else. Aries eyes were cloudy and her cheaks where red. Her body swayed back and forth. "Whats wrong with you?" She didn't answer ; she just stood there. Aries lips turned into a smile ; a fake one.
