We went to the jail during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hour for psych 1010 today. It was really cool. They took us on this whole tour thing and we got to see the holding cells and where the prisoners lived and stuff. They really don't get much room in those places. And then we got to ask questions to about 8 prisoners. It was interesting to listen to. Like, they sounded like they all wanted to get out and had all these goals and said they really didn't want to be there, but then the officers said (after they left), they said that about 80% of all the prisoners in the jail would come back once they got out. It's kind of sad. But I thought it was a really neat thing to go to.
