Been a few days since I updated this, on the off chance that people actually read this. It's not like that my life is dependant on the thoughts of other people on my rants here, but still it'd be cool to actually think that somebody else actually reads this. Anyway...on to more pressing issues. It's been snowing a lot up here, but that's what I get for going to school in Northern Michigan. We got 1-2 inches before, but that was the "little storm", which I get a kick out of, that a few inches of snow is considered the good news for the day. Apparently, starting around 1:00 (so, the time I'll be heading back across campus), it's going to start snowing, and we're going to get another FOOT of snow...A FOOT! People who live around here said that if I want to get a real idea of what the city is like, I should come up here during the summer, which is the exception because they're not cold up here. Well duh, because you can move your fuckin' fingers and toes! The only upside to having a shitload of snow and snowdays means that I can do some writing. I mean, I can drink and play poker like everybody else on campus does when theres a snow day, but you have to do something for the other two hours that you're away during the day. I get the feeling that I'm going to be a hypocite, because for a long time, I made jokes about people in frats and saying that I would never join one. Well, after three semesters at SVSU, and realizing that I've already seen about all the social activities there are on campus, I'm going to join a fraternity. I mean, if worse comes to worse, I can just quit...so it's not like I have to stay doing this if I don't want to. Something that's been annoying me: that stupid "Hey Ya" song...I don't get it, I like Outkast normally, but the first eight dozen times that song was on the radio kind of ended the fact that I could tolerate it. Same thing with the Nickelback song "You Remind Me". I really like the band itself, but their song last year was overplayed to the point where I just got sick of it...there new song isnt bad, but then again it hasnt been overplayed yet. Anyway, that's about it for me.
BLUTO: My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.
OTTER: Better listen to him Flounder, he's pre-med.
Great line from a great movie. If you dont know this movie...tsk, tsk, tsk.
