Alright, its been a couple days since I put something up here, so I know the usual "update your damn diary!" thing is coming, so I'll just write something in here beforehand. At work, we're talking about going on strike because the company is kind of screwing us over with what they're saying they'd offer us to not go on strike. We dont take an actual vote on it until Saturday, cause thats when the contract is up, and then they have a week to offer us something good and then if they don't, by next Saturday, we're gonna go on strike. I don't know, I would rather not if we could avoid it, but after what they were saying they wanted to cut, I would rather go on strike just to keep it then work there without it. What they're saying is that they want to cut all holiday and Sunday pay from everyone that works there so that they can save money. The extra $2 on Sundays per hour that I get isn't much, but its one of the only reasons I don't bitch about coming in on Sundays. But, if we strike then I have to do the whole "walk the picket line" thing, and then think people are douchebags for shopping there. I mean, I think that about the people who shop there now (at least the non-hot ones who go there), but if I show up for a certain number of hours per week then I get $80. Anyway...the Tigers kicked some ass last night, won 17-7 against the Royals, and they set like, two team records, and hold the record for most hits this season (28), so they showed that when they get off their asses and try, they can put up some runs.
