Lesser of Two Evils

Realized something today: the less time you spend with someone, or the longer its been since you last saw them, is one of the factors in just how annoying someone is to you when you're with them. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, first off, don't feel bad because I'm kinda high on pot and caffeine right now (kidding, kidding, just high on pot) anyway...back to what I was saying. My roommate this year was at the fraternity house on Thursday, or as I call it "The Night I Was Friendly" because apparently I talked to EVERYBODY there. So anyway, he shows up, and everybody who I've told stories to about him, wants to talk to him because thanks to me, he's a legend! So I'm standing there and he's talking to my roommates girlfriend from last year. Last year, in my eyes, there was no one who I wanted to spend less time with then her. She couldn't put together a good idea to save her life, and she was a horrible test audience for material because she laughed at everything. This year when I see her, because I'm not forced to hang out with her, she's actually not that bad. I don't know if she was just that bad last year, or if I was over-reacting, but she seems to be slightly smarter, and even bordering on attractive. Now, keep in mind that there are a select few people who I would consider attractive at any point in my life, she's one of those whos attractive just because...well, I've been single for a looooooooooooong time. Anyway, she was talking to my roommate, who I just...try as I might, I can't seem to get along with him over anything. I dont know if it's our different backgrounds, (I'm from the city, he's a redneck), or what, but we never really clicked. He hates the Tigers, I think that monster trucks are for classless Jethros in the south (just a personal opinion of course), and could care less what the rankings are for motocross. So basically it was a case of a lesser of two evils that I faced, and really, looking back, my roommates girlfriend from last year wasn't all bad. I mean, if nothing else she had a hot roommate. Anyway, I'm outta here. DIRECTOR: We are trying to do a serious production here! (To other actors) Will the dancing Hitlers please wait in the hall!

Your roommate is annoying ... Actually your old roommate Aaron was annoying. Glad that someone still reads my diary ... Hope your finals went well.
