I have come to a decision *trumpets blare* that men and women can never, under almost any circumstances be just friends, with each of them actually happy that they're nothing more then friends. Men and women can almost never be friends because the issue of sex almost always gets in the way. Now, people say to me, "I'm a woman, I have lots of guy friends!" but here's the thing, you think you do, but really you don't. Any guy friend that you have was put there intentionally by you, so he basically still wants to have sex with you, even if he doesn't say it. It's a given. It's just that no man can just be friends with someone that he thinks is attractive, he just talks to her and is friends with her because he wants to have sex with her. Are men pigs because of this? Yes, definately, we admit that constantly, it's a badly kept secret if we don't want to have it get out. It doesn't matter if it's not a feeling that the guy gets back, and believe me, I'm talkin from experience on this one, I've got like five people that I talk to that would be great to date or something, nothing in return, but I'm still friends with them. I mean, sure it happened because we like the same stuff and they're decent to talk to, but usually you can't be friends with someone and be happy that you're just friends with them. It doesn't work, believe me. The only exception would be if both of the people are already in a relationship with other people, then they can hang out all that they want because there is no pressure of dating when you're with someone else, so you can just hang out with the dude/chick without there being this pressure for you to want to date them. I mean, sure then theres the problem of the person in the relationship thinking that something is wrong if you need to hang out with these other people because there might be something wrong with your own relationship but still...there isn't so they don't have to worry. Anyway, to sum it all up: men and women can't be friends because the fact that one's a man and ones a woman always means that at least one of them wants to have sex. Case closed, I know I'm not wrong on this one for a change. STEVE: I found the perfect date for you. JOSH: What's so perfect about her? STEVE: You didn't pick her.
