Farenheit 9/11: Great, great, GREAT Movie!

After seeing all the hype about Farenheit 9/11 and all the stuff that it says in there and all that, I finally went and saw it on Friday. Now, I'm a liberal and hate, hate, HATE G. W. Bush with a passion. I mean, a lot of people have their own opinions, and hey, more power to you, but I seriously think that Bush is a liar and a theif, and that's my point of view. Anyway, that was EASILY one of the best movies that I've seen in a long time. They had two showings at the AMC Forum, which is the big theater around here, and both of them were sold out. There was war footage that you just don't see during the news or anywhere else for that matter. They have us over there like we're doing this great thing and that they love us over there. If people know half the shit that we do over there to "help America stay safe", it's complete bullshit! They had someone going into someone's house and go in there, point their guns at the people in there...but then it turns out that there isn't the person in the house that they thought was in there. So they go in there and scare these people, and they had the wrong address. But the most interesting parts about that movie was the fact that the Bush and bin Laden family are so close, it's disgusting. They've known each other for all these years, and his father was MEETING with the brother of bin Laden the morning of September 11th. But apparently, that's okay. There's no problem with that. Clinton gets some from an inten, and the whole country goes down the tubes, depending on who you listen to, but there are almost 1,000 people in the army who die because of a war that we didn't need to fight in the first place. Isn't it a little ironic that Bush does the Iraq War thing, and his buddies are the ones that build the weapons that we're using to bomb Iraq and Afghanistan, and then Cheney's buddys are the ones that are in there making the new buildings and the companies that are over there! IS NO ONE LISTENING!? I mean, god...this shit that is in this movie is just amazing! There's this guy at this meeting saying "There's this pot of money out there for the grabbing! And the American taxpayers are footing the bill!" and it's not like he's making stuff like this up, there are direct quotes! The sad thing about this movie is that he had to make this movie in the first place. All of this information is out there in the European press and for other things, but the American media, from the stealing of the election (and the thing was stolen, theres enough legitimate info out there proving that one. I mean, they counted 638 illegal ballots for Bush, so...God.) There were parts that were funny, and parts that were very hard to watch either because they were too gruesome or how sad they were for the people involved. Now, I'm going to go off the usual course here and say that I would support re-starting the draft, as long as it is not just men being drafted. People want equal rights, hey, more power to it. If there were a draft in this country, there woudl be like, a 20% support for this war, and we wouldn't be so quick to go to war. All I can say is thank god somebody actually made this movie thanks to all of the information about Bush and all these horrible connections he has around the world. I'm going to end this with what Michael Moore said: "These men and women are in harms way because of their own free will. All they ask is that we never put them in harms way without a decent and legitimate purpose for fighting. Can they EVER trust us again?" The movie was amazing, it was the first movie that people applauded at the end of it that I've been to other then Bowling for Columbine, and the funniest lines weren't scripted...they were actually from Bush when he was trying to ACT presidential. Oh yeah, and in case you didn't hear about this, it was the #1 movie in America. That's impressive enough, but moreso when you think about this: *It opened in 868 theaters *The 2nd-best movie opened on Wednesday *It made as much in 3 days as BFC its whole run *Most money ever for a documentary *First documentary to ever be #1 movie
