Reality shows still seem to be a genital rash that just won't go away. Such as survivor, where every idiot gets a chance to play pretend "I know what i'm doing", all the while i'm waiting for the big guy to kill the weaklings and use their bones for tools. To my disapointment they just vote these people off.....not very survivor like, last time I checked if your in a life or death survival situation democracy fails. I also wonder about the animals, they would be a wonderful food source, or predator. A group of incompetent oafs like that would be easy prey to many of the big hunters out in the wilds, but again they live in some sort of perfect sanctuary. However, in comparison to this next show, many people would opt for having their head bludgeoned against a brick wall; than to suffer any length of Train 48. Not actors, then how come it's always the same bloody people? Other people use the trains too, what not film them? Right I remember, it's all a catch to fool the lifeless audience into thinking it's real. Not a challenging task concidering most of these people have given up all concept of reality to live in a safer and less thought provoking system of fake emotions and emulation. Everyday I hope that train crashes with all of it's viewers. I'm sure that's one accident police would be willing to let off as an "act of God". If TV wasn't bad enough with plague of reality shows. We have the Tsunami of anime washing away the youth and adolencents in a wave of 1 dimensional characters and wavy plots. The average anime comprises 1 of 3 hero types: The deadly Nympho, she is easily identifiable by her ginormous breasts and dual pistol action. Don't be fooled by her thin physique, she can punch through robots and kick the shit out of any steroid bloated caveman. Mr. Mysterious, this hero is shrowed with mystery and emotional turmoil. This is often because he is such an ass kicker he hates killing. He is often trying to repent for past sins that is rarely revealed unless it's in annoyoing and flashy nostalgia. Don't be fooled, this is just a lazy tactic to avoid character development. The pacive agressor, a child of either gender that wants a peaceful solution to the conflict. This child will eventually unlock some sort of hiden power that makes them almost Godly. With these Godly powers they dictate a new order of peace and harmony after assimilating or annihilating the bad guys. Very peaceful on a level of pacifism never seen befor. At least it's a step towards character development. In an attempt to give these hero's a sense of depth they add crazy characters that spew out cheezy lines how much our hero is changing. It'd be nice if it were true, but as the series continues you notice no change in the selfish behaviours. If the one dimensional heros and cheezy side kicks don't deter you, maybe the endless and trivial plot will. Many if not all anime never seem to end, the plots are so thin and trivial it can be stretched out into a never ending series. The hero tasked with a quest that has little or no real purpose other than the sheer fact that they enjoy being everyone's bitch. You know inevitably that the bad guys are going to come back regardless of their defeat or death and muck things up again for our predictable hero. Unfortunately for the ones that do end, rarely have anything to do with the ending forshadowed in the beginning. Making you wonder if it was really worth watching the previous episodes at all. Having observed no character development, no character additions and little or no relevance to the to the main idea revealed at the end. This is just the skimming the top of the pool of crap that is coming from japan, china and even here. I'm not going to bother going into the deep end, because I get sick to my stomach that people actually watch this stuff. Example, Hello Kitty.....wtf? People not everything from the east is to be idolized for it's creativity, like us they have retards too.
