ok new poem...lets see.
green fields, the icy blue eyes, your soft touch, smooth complexion. i wait by creek. this is turning into a story. you run in your dress, down to your knees, then kneel down, and run past all the trees. now its a poem. no longer alone, the loft in the barn, no longer a stone, some...kittens play with yarn. im having fun, running with you, but now i must leave, but why leave now, why so soon. because. i said so. actually. my parents said GO. go we must, into the city they say. leaving the country, always love me i pray. poems right now are lame by me, i cant rhyme well, as you can see. well that was ok, and thats what i say. because all this time. im bored, anyway......
im trying to feel poetic, its not working. hold on, one more try.
a knight in armour, ill be your knight. ill take your hand and banish your fright. fears of evil stream from the woods, but im here now, ill stay for good. ive earned my respect, the trust of your father, and he said yes yes he approved when i said, sir, im in love with your daughter. nobility rang through those large church bells, as we wed that day, that day before hell. up through the depths, the depths from down under. Arose a great beast, the town filled with wonder. i took my sword, climbed upon my white steed, i took up the challenge i took up the deed. to slay this great beast, a dragon of death, i rode down the chasm, i had not the hint of regret. for i knew, in mine own heart, that rejoicing would come, id never let us part. i love you i love you, my fair, sweet dear, you may not be a princess, but you bring my my joy, to this i do swear. and now i lunge, my sword with great strength, into this beast, into this beast, INTO THIS BEAST. i hit the ground, he slashed me off my white steed. but my sword still in him, with that he shall bleed. and bled to death he did, after i ran all about, dodging and dashing and thrashing without. from the sky soared a bolt of lightning, crashed into the dragon, through my great sword. the dragon is slayed, we were graced with his hoard. and many a celebration we had after that. and then there was much more rejoicing, yes, yes, after that. and that which be told to you on this day, weve been wed ever since, ever since that dark May. when the dragon arose to scare off our town, and pillage our plunders we dug out of ground. but i killed the dragon yes i saved the day. i kissed her, held her tight, they shouted HIP HOOORAY.
wow i feel good about that, even though its not genius and its been done before, i like it. any comments on it, feel free to leave them :)
