First of all, I would like to pay a tribute to someone. Lane Vinson passed away on August 16, 2002. She was Emily's best friend, and though I didn't know her, I know she was wonderful and will be missed by many. I haven't written in many days. Nothing's really happened, so I just thought I would tell you about my day today. First was US History, where we had a test. We were given twenty minutes to review, and then the test started. I had eleven answers blank when the bell rang. Coach Moyer is going to let me finish early Monday morning, so I have this weekend to study some more. Next was Chamber Choir. After much sitting around at the beginning of class, where I hung out with Emily and Ty, and various others, and listened to Clay play the guitar, we sightread very badly. Then, we worked on Ca The Yowes. I didn't think I'd like it, but it isn't so bad. I sit by a soprano named Shelly, and she has a cold. Let us hope said cold doesn't pass to me, because I do not need it. In Psychology, I wrote Nikki a note and listened to Nature vs. Nuture presentations. I'm not charismatic and brave, so I didn't volunteer to present. I get to go Monday, whee. Oh, and Ms. Capers is doing this experiment in which she has placed something in her portable with writing that stands out. We've hounded her about it for days, and finally, after everyone else had gone, she told me what it was, so I can't tell anyone. But I just felt special. At lunch...nothing...really happened. We just kind of ate. Concert Choir was...eh. We worked on Sanctus. I'm still trying to decide if I like it or not. I like the ending at least. And we started patronships. I don't do patronships. I just don't find them successful. In English, we talked about The Scarlet Letter. I see that even though I'm going to read the book, nothing is going to make any rationale until Mrs. Cooper explains it to us in class. Because now I know that Hester was an adultress with a kid, and she had affair with a guy, and then the guy who recognized her in the crowd of people was her husband. And then she wouldn't tell two ministers who her child's father was, but I know who it is. I see I'm going to enjoy the story, though. After school, I hung out with Nikki and then I went to my mom's portable and talked to Melissa, Brandi, and Michael. Then, we went home. My dad and I had dinner at Monterey's and then Kim, Joy, and I went to Barnes and Noble, where Michael met us because he didn't even ask to come to my house. He just assumed we were going and headed over. So we left him. Hee. We're mean, but hey, he was rude. He doesn't IM Joy online except to ask her if we're going to Barnes and Noble. That merits a little taste of his own medicine, methinks. In other news, I got The Sims, and it is so much fun. I made a Squishettes house, and I just love it. I love taking pictures. That's all for now, folks.
