i set out on a narrow way

Feeling: smitten
You know how good/bad things come in threes? Well, today was no exception. And it was good. This morning was Super Saturday for work, and I really didn't want to go at first. But once I got there, it was actually kind of fun. And by the time the keynote speaker spoke, I was having a blast. She started off wearing this very well-put-together business suit, and then she ripped it off to reveal one that was extremely tattered and torn to represent someone who is living a stressful life. She told tons of jokes and anecdotes to tell us the best ways to deal with stress in our workplaces and in our personal lives. After that, she told us how it related to her. She had such a hard life, being screwed over by two husbands, losing a son, a rape, and losing everything she ever had. She was amazing, and it was really something I needed to hear. The next good thing was a trip to Augusta. Joy, Kim, James, and I all went to Augusta to buy Gloria Jean's Coffee Shop coffee. And it was gooood. We also walked around the mall some. On the way down and back we listened to Bill Engvall and Jeff Foxworthy. Hilarious. Finally, I went to Coldstone and met up with Emily, Heidi, and Bob, It was Emily's first time meeting Heidi and Bob. She and I played around in Books-A-Million for awhile (she greeted me by startling me with this...thing that made a spooky noise) and then we had ice cream with Michelle. It was a good time, but as usual, I felt kind of thirdwheeled by Heidi and Bob because when they hang out together they kind of get lost in each other. Well, even though Bob and Michelle talked at great length. But it was a fabulous time, and plus, I got to hang out with Emily outside of school, which is rare. We'll have to do it again sometime. Ayyy, church tomorrow. Things are going so well, I wonder when they're going to crash again.

I'm glad I finally quit calling him Bob.
