graduate

I'm a graduate. We showed up at the Elephant Room on time, and then I got out, put on my cap and gown, and immediately saw Kim. We went inside and talked to people and then I went to my row. Row 2 rocks. We had a Disney sing-along. We were LOUD in the elephant room. Everybody started whooping and hollering as we marched out. Walking out is weird. Your pulse starts to race and you feel all jittery because this is your graduation day. I mean, I'm not as emotionally involved with it as some people, but it's still so cool. Processional was over, and so the speeches began. AF gave a very touching speech as our class president, which ended in her tearfully reading the words to The Irish Blessing. I'll miss her. Academic honors. That was fun because I got to stand up. Hee. So they gave out the diplomas. My uncle Marvin took pictures of me walking and they actually turned out really well. I wish they had sat on the OTHER side so you could see my face. Mr. Tyler shook my hand, I got the diploma cover and sat down. And then proceeded to cheer for people as they walked across. Michelle, Bob, Joy, Michael, and Ms. Alison (I hope) cheered as I walked. That was amusing. After graduation, after screaming with Megan and Carolynne, and then getting hugged by lots of people, we came home and my party! Also, I would like to state that with all the money I've gotten recently, I think we officially have enough money to buy my latop, which is EXCITING because I can play with it all summer. Plus I can listen to my music in my room once I transfer it over. Laptop! Eeee! And then I'll to get an internet thing in Starbucks so I can play with the internet things too. Eee! This is exciting. Then we had Kim's party. That was fun, except for James' dad. Oh, well. It was a great day, and now I'm a graduate. I'll miss it, but not really that much. High school was fun, but now we'll move onto to bigger, better things. And I'm so excited.
