midnight train to georgia

So, Spring Break so far has been wonderful. On Monday, I went to wonderful, beautiful Charleston. I love that city. It's probably my second favorite city to Jacksonville. We were there and to Isle of Palms to hang out on the beach. I got a little burned. And then later on that evening, I went to BAM and read books, after which, the lovely Emily came to join me and we talked a bit and then she purchased Augusten Burroughs' fiction book. We talked a bit, and then I drove her home quite terribly. Yesterday, I worked. That was okay. Angela and Ms. Karen had Subway for lunch and I totally wanted some. Then I came home, and my dad, Megan, and I went to Lander to see the spring chorus concert. The Old Main Singers sang "Thanks Be To God," which we did at All-State. The only bad thing about it was that on the part where the stormy billows are high and their fury is mighty, they sang it like, "their fu-ry is migh-ty," like chopping the words or something. But other than that, it was pretty good. I had to stop myself from singing along too loudly. Overall, they have a good choral program, though I think they could probably sing harder literature. We're both so excited now, though. I hope Megan's chances of getting into Old Main are good because she made All-State. And then today, I worked some more and went to church. Again, I would just like to say that it is wonderful that Andrea and Alane have come out of their respective shells. Not much else to say. I'm looking forward to next week. I'm not ready to go back to school, but I'm ready to FINISH school. And go to Orlando. We'll see. Things are looking up.
