so you better not cut that pie

Listening to: Ani DiFranco - Ok
This was an extremely good week. I don't know why it was so good, but it was. There are so many things coming up. Next Friday and Saturday I will be involved in things for Lauren & Bert's wedding. The rehearsal and the actual wedding, that is. The following Tuesday (already) is a chorus concert, followed by MY BIRTHDAY on that Thursday. I'll be 18. That's so weird. That Saturday, I will go to NATS and compete. I will not do outstandingly, as I do not know my music that well, and because NATS is truly a place where I just do averagely. The next week, I get to just have a normal week and weekend. And then the one after that contains All-State weekend. Wooohooo! The rehearsal CDs kinda suck, but as Emily said, the fact that we can't hear all four (or five, six, seven, or eight) parts now adds to the excitement down the road. So eeee. March 26th will be State Festival. Chamber Choir just needs to go out with a bang and win, as it will not exist next year. April isn't really all that much except Spring Break and the Easter cantata at church, and prom. It's spring though, and the prospect of warm weather all the time (and shorts) makes me very very excited. And then May...I guess I'll wrap things up at school and then graduate. It's so weird that graduation is the last thing in a relatively small things left to do this school year. I remember when it seemed so far away. I'm going to miss a lot of things about being in high school. But there are a lot of things I'm glad to get away from, particularly all that drama that you just begin to tire of when you're a senior. As far as today, Joy needs to start answering my IMs, and quickly, because we were discussing going to Charleston last night. I'm bored out of my mind.
