and all flesh shall see it together

Feeling: reminiscent
I'm listening to the holiday stations on Spinner. Today, I sang in church. I sang "Comfort Ye, My People" and "Every Valley Shall Be Exalted" from The Messiah. These are hard. I had been working on them since August. While I was in Winston-Salem, I developed a bit of a cold. (All I can think of when I listen to Extreme is "More Than Words," so this is a bizzare experience for me.) I got up there, stood at the pulpit, and sang the best I could, glancing at Joy, Kim, Lauren, and...some candles. I was less nervous than I expected to be, but when I sat down after singing the choir anthem, I still felt very relieved. Lots of people shook my hand and told me I did well. And then I had Chinese for lunch. Sometimes I wish I could go sit by my grandmother's grave and tell her everything she's missed and how much I miss her.
