woke up in mid-afternoon

Feeling: groggy
Today was the Lander visit, yaaaaay. We had to leave pretty early to get there, and ate at Waffle House beforehand. Upon our arrival, we mingled in the Commons, or whatever they are, and talked to the representatives of the following: Humanities, Education, Music, Financial Aid, and Housing. And someone gave me a catalog. Thanks. Then, we headed into the auditorium to hear a bunch of people speak about a bunch of different thing. And then he called us all out by interest and we went to check out different divisons of the school. I chose to go with the Humanities people. The two Spanish professors are awesome. I don't know how else to describe them. They're married, and they're just great people. They seem like they're really good teachers. Since Lander is such a small school, the professors can give you more individual attention. Plus, I found out that Lander only has about 20-25 Spanish majors at any given time, which was absolutely thrilling to me. I like feeling like part of a group instead of just a member. Finally, we toured the campus. The residence halls are really nice, and I think I want to live in either Lide, Williamston, or Brookside. The classrooms are nice as well. After that was over, my dad and I ate lunch at O'Charley's, and then we went home, and I carnapped. Regretting that decision now. What's coming up here...hmm...tomorrow is the thing at the Methodist church, my paper is due on the 27th, Nanowrimo starts on November 1st, same day as the fall festival occurs. All-State auditions are November 7th, I believe. So, some business coming up.
