Well since that seems to be the popular title, I shall use it as well. This is betta, I’m using word to write this so that I get all the caps and sheet that I need without looking totally illiterate. I guess. So anyway, school did this neat demonstration about drinking and driving and it’s based on the fact that ’every 15 minutes’ someone dies because of an alcohol related crash. A lot of people found it lame, and many others found it so emotional they were cryin buckets. I was neither of the extremes, but I certainly did not find it lame. In fact I’m somewhat annoyed by the people who did find it lame, shows some immaturity. They just feel like ranting about how lame it was and wah wah everyone was crying, what pussies…etc. To me that’s REALLY annoying. Like dude be happy that they didn’t just show some lame video or shove pamphlets down our throats. The demonstration itself was actually pretty cool. At first they had (every 15 minutes) someone make an announcement saying so and so died due to an alcohol related crash, and they’d show the picture on the TV screen. I wasn’t all that moved by it or anything, until *tear* mikael died. (haha mikael, it has the red line under your name because apparently it is spelled incorrectly) I wasn’t choked up or anything, I was just like GASP. I was surprised that it was actually someone I knew. Some people were like flippin out though…omg…they were crying so much I was just like dude…it’s not real. You will see them again. I promise. But that was only the first part, then during 5th period they had us all go out to the parking lot and see their simulated crash. I thought it was cool. They had real cars that were totaled and they had kids stickin out of the windshields all bloody…it was sick….but effective I guess. They even had to use the ‘jaws of life’ to actually rip the roof off one of the cars to get some kids out. Then they took some to the hospital and arrested one kid because he was the ‘drunk driver.’ I don’t care what anyone says, I thought it was pretty cool. Blech of course everyone I know practically had to bitch about it and say what was wrong with it and how unrealistic it was that they were already at school and somehow died of a car crash, but it’s like well who else are they gonna use? They’re trying to show that it happens every 15 minutes, they can’t exactly use anyone else….so they use people from the school. Haha you can thank whatshisface for that little rant of mine, he started it… And apparently tomorrow they’re gonna have this big assembly where I think it’s gonna be the memorial thing of all the kids that died today. Oooh but back to the car accident, I’m so glad I got a good seat in front. Because SOME people were saying how lame the whole thing was but these people didn’t see anything so HA they can’t say shit. Lol I’m cranky but it really bothers me when people just wave it off as some lame thing our school put on, I thought it was good. Grr it’s so irritating how immature some people can be, making fun of it and stuff…like I wasn’t exactly crying or choked up about it but still leave the people alone who were. It’s not their fault they have more compassion than you. Haha mostly I’m irritated because I just know that karlyna had something to say about the whole thing….and kenny and jimmy….uggh. Whatever, I dug it. I’m totally glad it wasn’t just some lame video thing, I think it was really cool. It was experiencing it and whoever thought of it was being pretty smart…I mean it’s obviously effective. Look how many people cried. And when the people were walking around all dead and not allowed to talk to anyone…it freaked people up. Haha then people were making fun of the grim reaper, gotta let that one slide…he was just weird… *steps off soapbox*
