As I am leaving the pool deck a friend walks on, I look up... she is saying something to me, but what? She makes a hand signal...what is she trying to tell me? I hear something that makes my stomache drop.. could it be true? I run to the wall with hope and dread all in one. I look at the paper seccurely taped to the wall.... Where is my name? Finally I find it ______VARSITY___ALLEN, JESSICA. I find myself dumbstruck, are they crazy, do they think I can really do it? And then my body is filled with excitement, all doubt gone. Im on Varsity water polo... I never thought that it would happen so fast. What a wonderful feeling im having. Is this real? Hell yea it is! ~Jessica*~
