Last night was crazy. I was driving home from work in the god-aweful downpour only to come upon a series of fire trucks and cop cars off of West Little York and Barker Cypress. Apparently, a huge ass tree had fallen and they blocked the entire street off for some reason. Shit, I thought that was crazy enough until I got to Barker Cypress and Clay. Well, actually a light before that but I don't remember the name of that little street. Everything was pitch fucking black. The only thing that lighted the street was my own headlights. The stop lights were out, the subdivisions were dark, the Randalls, Walgreens and the two gas stations on the corner were black. I was dumbfounded because normally when I come up to the Clay and Barker Cypress light, I guide myself using the Walgreens. Seeing that the Walgreens was clearly not there, I got kind of scared. Did a huge tornado whirl it away or what? But, there was no tornado. Damn. Needless to say, after that storm, it is now 49 degrees outside. FINALLY. November 24 and it's just now getting cold. Texas sucks. Anywho.. My mom's bitching. I better go home. By the way, tomorrow is mine and Jeff's 10-month. *1/25/04* =D
