Jeff left for Corpus Christi at 1:30 this morning. I spent almost all day yesterday with him and helping him pack. We went to Galveston Saturday night and spent the night there and came home Sunday morning after we realized it was way too cold and windy to swim. We tried to spent as much time with each other as possible. He won't be home until early Saturday morning. This sucks so much. No one has any idea how bad I feel right now.
I wish he didn't have to go and sometimes I wish he would've never taken the job. But I know it's for the best. He'll be making two to three times more than he was at Target and he'll be able to actually support himself on his own with no roommates. He'll be able to pay off all of his tickets and bills and get caught up to where he wants to be. It'll be the best for him. I just wish we didn't have to be separated from each other for this long. It really blows.
Galveston was fun. I slept almost the whole way out there since we decided to leave at 10 Saturday night. It was cold so we built a fire and sat by it for a while until we got too tired to keep our eyes open. We put the fire out and made our bed in the back of his car. Since his car is only a two-seater, it has a really big, flat trunk space. It was nice. We cuddled to keep each other warm but it was still extremely uncomfortable. I have bruises on my hips from laying on my side in his car. Needless to say, we didn't exactly go to sleep right a way. Lets just say that was the first time in a car and on the beach for both of us. Now that was nice. It was a lot of fun. We woke up around nine in the morning and went and got breakfast and then decided to head out since it was way too fucking cold. I drove his car all the way home. Yes, a stick shift. And I drove. We came home and went back to sleep and actually slept until almost four in the afternoon. Then we had to go take care of some stuff before he left for Corpus.
Saturday's another story. Jeff spent the night Friday night after a whole day of sanding and primering my car which, by the way, looks incredible. My car is fucking sexy. She's all black. Smooth black, at that. No streaks or white lines. Grr. Then we took her out to the Spring Fling Thing which turned out to be the Spring Fling No-One-Showed. It sucked. There were a total of nine actual Third Gens and one Corvette which wasn't even considered a Generation. It was so boring. We all just stood around and talked about our cars and what was done to them, etc. The guy that drove the Vette took pictures of everyone's cars to post on the website. I'll post a link later on. The "mass cruise" was not a mass cruise. Everyone wanted to take their different ways to get to HMP so I ended up cruising with only two other Third Gens. So it wasn't much of a cruise. Then the track wanted $15 bucks per person to enter the track so we ended up turning around and going home. It wasn't worth it. Then the guy who is also the administrator of the board I post on, told us that he had canceled the Fling that day because he thought there was going to be nasty weather and rescheduled it for next Saturday. So, we ended up going out there for nothing. It was a waste of fucking gas. Oh well. I highly doubt I'll drive all the way back out there again next Saturday.
Anyway. I had an okay weekend I guess. I go in for surgery tomorrow at ten in the morning so I won't be at school. I actually get a five day weekend. Heh. Today I'm just going to chill. Run a few errands. Maybe take my dogs for a walk. Sleep some more. Unless I hear from Sid or Ashley about this Government project. Then I have to take care of that.
Alright. I'm out of here.
