well, I finally got contacts...and the verdict please... They aren't as great as I thought they would be, but that's to be expected in the first few days...I can't really see better, but that could be because I need the special astigmatism ones and my eyes just have to get used to them...I look so weird without my glasses now. It's kinda funny, I remember when I first got my glasses and I thought I looked weird, took awhile to get used to it....and now I'm going back to the way I looked the majority of my life and it's totally weird..hmm....I'm sure I'll get used to it...it turns out that they aren't the all day and night ones, just during the day, which is good... My mommy is in surgery right now for her ruptured/slipped disk in her lower back...she's spose to be out of surgery around 4, and we are all spose to go to the hospital and visit her...I hate seeing my mom in the bed with and IV and that gross robe on...we visited her last night and brought her her xmas presents to unwrap. Jason, Katie, Aaron, Jan and adam were all there with my dad and I. I hopeshegets better soon, it's so weird having her laying around all the time and me having to take care of her. I didn't call Tim by the way, if anyone was wondering. I do'nt remember what happened...oh wait...my parents were all like let's watch a movie together...I imed Tim that I had to watch a movie with my paretns but if it wasn't too late and he still wanted to hang out that he could call or I would...by the time the movie was over, I was tired and Tim had signed off so I figured he had either gone to bed or found soemthing to do. oh well, how many more weeks am I home? yeah wonder what I'm gonna do today other than visit mom at the hospital...oooo...mb a movie. I really want to see Cheaper by the dozen, especially after Robin told me about the Jared sighting, but Jelly called this morning and said she wanted to go on our date(Mona Lisa Smile)...so mb we'll do that instead. Erin said she would call today too, but if she doesn't I won't be surprised. beauty time! off the deep end
