this is gonna be a pretty long entry. FOR ONCE. right now i'm eating mac n cheese. mmm. not as good as Cara's, though :[ wish she didn't have to work..
todayyy was a half day at school. meaning we go home at 11:30am. yay. I took a nap when I got home with my baby, Cutie Petunia. she slept on top of me; she's my precious.
Dustin asked if I wanted to go to Curves since it seemed that Roxanne and Kristina weren't going, so I said yes. it wasn't that bad. I think i'd actually like going alone better, but i'll still go with Roxanne and Kristina when they want to.
I got home from that just in time to put my Green Day tape in the vcr, turn my tv to MTV, and start recording. as soon as TRL started, Green Day started playing "Welcome To Paradise" which is off of Kerplunk and Dookie. it's one of my favorite songs by them, so I was all psyched and bouncing around on my bed :] then Damien talked to them about just ending their tour and what they'll do next and how they're the biggest band on the planet. and I don't care if you don't like them, you can't argue with that. DAMN STRAIGHT UP BITCHES.
Billie Joe was all ahhjflj;dsa. I almost lost it.. lmao, kidding. maybe. then in the middle of the show, they retired "Wake Me Up When September Ends" from the countdown in person to Green Day and then they performed that song right after. it looked like Billie was gonna cry and it was all emotional. I got teary, haha. not because of the song, but just because.
I tried soo hard ALL during the show to get through to the MTV phoneline but it was constantly busy. I finally did get through and pressed the wrong button.. oopsy. I was trying to vote for them to play "St. Jimmy" because I know that song is Billie's favorite to perform off of American Idiot. "Holiday" ended up winning and they played that at the end of the show. I was soo ecstatic when I found out they were gonna play THREE songs throughout the show, I coulda peed myself. I don't think any artist has done that.
i'm going to watch it again tomorrow on MTV Hits at 6pm :] because i'm a fanatical stalker freak.
