Feeling: empty
So, after a year or so of planning, I finally got to go to Bloomington-Normal, IL to meet/see my bestfriend Katie Jean Gabrielle Steel.
Thursday, July 5th:
Alisa and I got up at about 6 to get ready. Take a shower and what not.
Around 7:45, Danny picked us up and we went to pick up Kevin.
We got back to my house and Me, Alisa, Danny, Kevin, John, and Hannah left around 8:30, for our 3 hour drive.
Short ride. We all slept the whole way there.
We got to the school, and called Katie and Maddie and they came to meet us! OMG, I've never heard so much screaming. It was awesome!!!
We went to Katie's house so we could meet her mom, and then went to Maddie's house to wait. When it was finally time, we went to Travis's house (Katie's boyfriend) where I met Travis and Parker. When we got there, I called my dear friend from work camp, Dustin Alschwede, a.k.a. Schwede.
Anyways, I came out of Travis's kitchen to walk downstairs and I looked up and I saw this boy. I knew instantly that it was Schwede, but oh my God, he looked so different. A very good different. I, of course, screamed, and ran down the stairs to hug him. That was the moment I lost it. =]
Anyways, all of us went to Taco Bell and had a merry old time.
Then, we went to the wind farm, something we don't have here in Indy. It was amazing. I'm in love with wind mills.
Well, eventually, we had to leave. It was me, Alisa, Parker and Schwede in Schwede's car on the way back, and his car just so happens to be a convertible. Well, I got the smart idea to stand up. So, Parker and I (probably stupidly) stood up as we were driving down the road. It felt amazing.
Ugh. Well, we got back to Travis's and said our goodbyes. I had to give Schwede an extra hug. =] I really do like that boy a lot.
The car ride back wasn't bad. We had an acoustic sing-a-long session, stupid joke time, and "one check one love" time.
Anywayssssss, yeah. That was my IL adventure.
I can't wait for the 309's to come visit the 317.
i love all you guys.
