Business As Usual

The first part of my student loans came in the other day, and god, was it ever a welcome change.

Finally, we can afford to eat. My bedroom is no longer an empty space with a bed, covered in a bright pink blanket because it was the only spare one my mom had. Now I have a desk to study at; no longer do I have to mess up my back and neck by laying on my stomach and taking notes on my bed or floor. Now I can put my computer in my bedroom and have some privacy. God, this is nice.

Not a whole lot has gone on, which is why I haven't been posting recently. Still haven't had dinner with Holly yet. Both of us have been super busy, but now we have a specific day in mind; next Thursday. Hopefully things will go well. School has been good, not much to say there.

Got my guitar back today... Will from the guitar shop in Penticton lent me some money back in July and I put up Scarlet as collateral. Today I payed it off and finally I get her back. So nice. My room is most certainly complete.

I'm excited to go to Vancouver next week with SIFE. Its a student organization that I've joined, Students In Free Enterprise. Mostly business students, not all though, working together on various projects around the city to encourage growth in one way or another (IE green energy, entrepreneurial ventures, etc). Its a pretty big national organization, most business schools have a branch. But yeah, they're sending us to Vancouver for a leadership forum on the 16th; most expenses paid. All we have to do is pay for our food and find a way to get there. Thankfully, there's lots of us going so I have gotten a seat in a carpool.

Not much else to report. I'll keep in touch if anything happens.
