ok for those of you who dont live in DC...WMZQ is our main country station and every year they have a huge concert. well me and my friend shellie went for her birthday and it was SOOO much fun. we got there a little late but we didnt miss anything. from 12:30-4:30 they had a new country review stage where you can go and watch 20 min performances from a bunch of artists. well me and shellie were REALLY close to the stage and it was great. we got closer like every performance as people left and by the last performance we were like 3 rows of people back ((there were no seats it was just standing around...MUCH better lol)). They each played about 5 songs, and they talked a little, told some jokes lol...ill tell ya a song they sing. we watched Amber Dotson('What You Aint Gonna Get'), Jason Aldean('Hicktown'), Rebecca Lynn Howard('Forgive'), Keith Anderson('Pickin Wildflowers'), Shelly Fairchild('You dont Lie Here Anymore'), and Brian McComas('99.9% sure). they all did SOO great, and i got some kick ass pictures. I found some new favorite songs lol and some new favorite artists. Me and shelly got new white T's to get signatures on and then we found out you had to pay lik 30$ for signatures, so we were like nope ((we bought cowboys hats for 30$ though lol)) but we DID get brian McComas, and we both got a pic with him. He hugged and he was very nice. Before we went to that stage we walked around, watched some bull riding lol...and sat on this SUPER steep hill with everyone else. we were waiting for someone to fall down it ((they didnt till they got drunk lol)). then after all the people on that stage we headed to our seats for the main stage. AMAZING. we watched Jamie O Neal ('Tryin to Find Atlantis') who actually didnt do that good. The songs that came out on the radio she did amazing on, but the rest they were like unpracticed and she mumbled...lol idk. Then we watched Phill Vassar('Just Another Day In Paradise'). He did SOOO good...he played all his radio songs and others and it was awesome. I got a pic of him playing his piano and then he kept jumping on top of it lol...he was great. After him was Charlie Daniels Band. the begginning wasnt that great cuz he played songs that me and shellie werent even BORN when they came out lol so we were dancin ya know but we didnt know them. then they played some that we knew and THEN came like 30 min of all instrumentals. him on his violin, and they had like competitions with the violin and drums, then violin and guitarist. it was awesome. then he played some violin songs...and the lights went out and he walked off. We were all like wtf...where is the devil went down to Ga!?! lol but we all stood up and cheered and SCREAMED and clapped for like 6 min and then he came back out and played it lol. After him was the Header, LONESTAR. they are great everywhere and even better in Concert. They went right off and played 'My Front Porch Lookin' so we knew it was gonna be great. We left a little early to get ahead of traffic ((didnt work lol)) but we heard it ALL walking through the park and the parking lot. we sat in traffic IN the parking lot for about a hour lol...moving about 10 feet in 20 min at first lol...but it was great. then this guy got tired of waiting so he whipped out a camping chair and starting playing his Mandelin in the parking lot lol it was great. i got a pink cowboy hat and i stole a 98.7 banner lol but i had SOOO much fun. if you like country music i DEFINATLY reccomend a concert because country concerts have stuff you will NEVER see at no britney spears concert. its an awesome thing seeing all those people that love country music just like you...its awesome. Now i just have to figure out how to get $$ to see rascall flatts in July. *hint hint* katie lol!! i will pay 400$ to see them...i LOOOOVE them. AND OMG...ok GREAT story. me and shellie were walking down the path or w/e and there was this guy. i looked back like FIVE times to look because he looked JUUUUST like kenny chesney. he had glasses and a cowboy hat, and i still swear it was him. finally i was like OMG shellie thats kenny chesney! and she looked and was like OMG...and then she looked again and was like...no its not. and then these 2 girls walked up to him and were like OMG KENNY CHESNEY! so i was like OMG SHELLIE, and i like ripped her around to get a marker out of her bag and we ran over there and like as soon as we got there we heard him talk((he didnt have a thick accent)) AND he was like...ive been getting this ALL day long. we were like DAMNIT! lol but then he asked me "well can i still sign your shirt??" and i was like um no lol but i want a pic cuz you look JUST like him! so i have a pic of him and shellie...ill post it later lol, but unfortunatly for yall it doesnt look like him THAT much in the pic but in real life that guy...WOW lol.
