My granddad had another stroke this evening. Oh, well, I guess it was yesterday evening. It's already 1 am here.
He's in the high dependency ward now, which I think is a step down from ICU, which is good. I guess.
The left side of his face is paralysed. Obviously he's old, and these things happen...but it's still not easy to see him like that. There are so few good men in my life.
I saw him once, for a few minutes only, while he was still in the emergency ward. I didn't want to see him anymore after that because I am weak; I cannot take this. So I stood around outside the high dependency ward thinking of the ways that the hospital was stupid. Like how they don't have chairs outside the ward. And how there are these stupid button-operated sliding doors made of wood, and everytime it's about to close, if someone wants to go in, it will jerk back open and make a loud noise like nobody's business. I hope the patients couldn't hear it.
Note to self: Add sugar to that Prego's mix next time. You were making spaghetti sauce, not tomato.
My feet hurt.
Funny, I know a lot of people who put sugar in their sauce, but not me. :-)
I do not like having another rhiannon on this site. i am the original. arg, it vexes me
