Oh my god. Tomorrow is my 2 1/2 year anniversary with Azzi. That is a loooong time. But it's not one of those things where you feel that it's been going on forever...It's more like those 'time sure flies when you're having fun' kind of things. It's nice to look back and see how much you've learned and grown with someone. And yes, changed, too. I never thought that having a boyfriend could be used as a measure of your self-worth, but I guess having someone like Azzi stay with me for this long shows that I'm not such a bad person after all, huh? (This observation is meant for me only, since I've got self-esteem issues :/ ) Anyhow. I got up bright and early today to go to the Road & Transport Dept. (JPJ is Road & Transport, right?) to re-new my driver's license. As of today, I am no longer a probationary driver! People can no longer honk at me while swearing about P drivers under their breath...I have joined the legion of reckless drivers that is the Malaysian permanent driver community! Um. Ok. My mother came with me this morning, and she was in awe of how efficient they'd gotten since the last time she'd been there. It was so funny, she kept saying "This is fantastic, man!" and stuff like that. It used to take a whole day of waiting in line and a whole week of waiting for your license to be ready before being able to get it, but the whole thing only takes a day now. She also realized today that her license had been dead for a year now, so after I got done with making mine, we changed our minds about going home and went right back in to do hers. Yes, that is how exciting going to the JPJ is. I want one of those laminating machines. They are mad cool. I like these panels with the entry list and stuff. They're nifty. Scott is so hot. I'ma go now.
